Modern design,
made different.
The opposite of mass made.
Forget Adirondack, forget Muskoka. This is something new. Born in the heart of the Sea to Sky, this chair embodies local craftsmanship and cutting-edge technology. Printed in durable PETG composite polymer, it welcomes sun, rain, and salt air with ease, protected from UV and water exposure — a modern icon built for West Coast living. Have a 99 day.
Inspired by the soft, heavy accumulation of snow drifts and the pillowed ledges of the high alpine.
The Après Side Table captures that specific, suspended moment when the day’s adventure ends and the evening’s restoration begins. Designed as an architectural anchor for your most personal spaces, its fluid, triple-stacked silhouette mimics the natural layering of a mountain winter—bringing a quiet, rhythmic energy to the home.
We engineered the Après for the ritual of winding down. Its continuous S-curve form creates three dedicated "galleries" for your nighttime reads, tech essentials, and morning coffee. 3D-printed in our Squamish studio, the surface catches ambient light with a soft, muted glow, turning a functional bedside staple into a tactile work of art that truly "hits different" when the sun goes down.
Why You’ll Love It
The "Snow Pillow" Silhouette: The undulating, open-loop geometry provides a light, airy presence that feels substantial yet soft—a sculptural reflection of the Sea-to-Sky landscape.
Rhythmic Organization: Three tiers of integrated storage allow you to curate your essentials, keeping your surface clear for a lamp or a single glass of water while your "nighttime reads" nestle into the curves below.
Tactile Satin Finish: The high-performance, locally sourced and custom to PROTOTYPE polymer, maintains a smooth, satin luster that feels cool to the touch and diffuses light beautifully.
Apres-Ready Durability: Built to transition from a cozy bedroom to a sun-drenched lounge, the material is engineered for longevity and impact resistance, standing up to the demands of a high-adventure lifestyle.
Locally Made: Printed one-at-a-time in Squamish, B.C. This is a zero-waste, on-demand piece of "New Heritage" furniture, created with the same respect for the environment that we explore every day.

Like ripples spreading across water, the Aqua Table brings fluid energy into your space. 3D printed from recycled PETG in a cool slate-blue hue, its sculptural base blooms beneath a glass top, resembling petals or waves frozen mid-motion. Equal parts furniture and artwork, it’s built for modern living with a sustainable heart.

Table Lamp + Vase
Bring the mountain's softest light home.
Inspired by the quiet magic of the Squamish Valley at dusk, the Alpenglow Vase is a sculptural tribute to Mount Garibaldi as seen from our studio window. Designed to be the soul of your bedside table or a glowing feature on your favourite bookshelf, it captures that fleeting moment when the peaks turn rose-gold and the world slows down.
By day, it’s a minimalist vessel for your favourite seasonal blooms. By night, its integrated light transforms the crystalline structure into a warm, ambient glow—creating a cozy, grounded atmosphere in any room.
Artisan Details
We’ve paired high-tech 3D printing with organic textures to create a piece that feels both modern and deeply connected to nature:
The Vase: The main body is printed in heavy, light-refracting and locally sourced Crystal PETG, mimicking the raw, translucent beauty of high-alpine glacial ice.
The Base: A stone-textured base is 3D printed in Bio-PLA to provide a grounding element that is inspired by the granite slabs the glaciers sit atop in our local mountains.
Effortless Care: Includes a custom-fit 3.25"d x 8"h (8.26cm D x 20.32cm H) glass sleeve that slides out easily for cleaning and water refreshes, keeping the 3D-printed exterior pristine.
Crafted for You
Every Alpenglow Vase is made-to-order right here in our Squamish atelier. We believe in slow-made quality, ensuring your lamp is printed with precision and care specifically for your home.

Drops of Juniper.
Tell me, did you fall for a side table?
In the heart of the Sea to Sky corridor, where the rugged granite of the Chief meets the soft mist of the sound, a new era of furniture is being born. The Juniper Side Table & Floor Lamp is the flagship of this movement, a piece that proves technology doesn't have to be cold, and sustainability doesn't have to be simple. It is our love letter to the West Coast ecosystem and the homes that make this region so iconic.
The Soul of the Design
At first glance, the Juniper is a sculptural side table. But as the sun sets over the coastal mountains, it transforms. The body, 3D-printed with robotic precision in our Squamish studio, features a translucent, woven PETG texture. It captures light like sunlight through morning fog, casting a rhythmic, amber glow that warms the room from the inside out.
Grounded in Local Tradition
While the form is futuristic, the heart of the Juniper is deeply grounded.
The Crown: Each piece is finished with a 1"+ thick, locally sourced Douglas Fir top—handmade, heavy, and tactile.
The Foundation: The lamp is anchored by a 1/2"" bio-polymer base, an innovative blend of real Oak wood and PLA that brings a forest-floor earthiness to a digital design.
Commitment to the Corridor
This isn't mass-produced; it’s made for us, by us. By blending advanced digital fabrication with traditional woodworking, we’ve created something truly unique for the homes of the Sea to Sky and beyond. It’s a commitment to a lighter footprint and a heavier design impact—a piece built to be the heartbeat of your living space.

Designed for the Future. Made for Home.
At Prototype 3D, we believe that how a piece is made is just as important as how it looks. Our journey began with a commitment to local, on-demand manufacturing using 3D printing not just as a tool, but as a way to pioneer a more thoughtful way of living.
Our current and expanding collection is the culmination of years of experimentation in design for additive manufacturing. Every piece is made-on-demand in our Squamish studio, allowing us to maintain total artistic integrity while eliminating the waste of mass production. We invite you to explore a future where the objects in your home are as intentional as the spaces they inhabit.
