The TECHMER PM molecule icon presented here has been meticulously translated by PROTOTYP3 from icon to iconic sculptural piece; specifically redesigned for large format additive manufacturing.

 

TECHMER's objective was to showcase their impeccable coloring accuracy by formulating their brand's gold and navy blue tones in a 3D printable 10% glass fiber composite ABS formula. TECHMER was able to produce these materials in a limited quantity of just 125lbs each, which drastically minimized material waste post-completion.

With TECHMER’s coloring facility close by in Clinton, TN, this project was designed, formulated, and printed all within a 20 mile radius - demonstrating our combined commitment to localized manufacturing solutions.

The 3D printed TECHMER Icon sculpture was first on display at TECHMER's event booth during the NPE Plastics Show in Orlando, Florida from May 6-10, 2024. For the delivery and ease of re-use of the sculpture, we crafted a custom re-usable crate so that it could be easily repackaged and shipped to all of TECHMER's future events.
